Not to be rude or anything, but has anyone else realized that some entries are just traces of official art/ Miku nendoroid? Anime hyper;;

If you are speaking of this page 2nd from left 2nd row, then you are being rude because that was drawn free hand by my husband on a piece of 11x14 art paper using a nendoroid picture that he liked as a model. So, your rudeness or insecurity is actually complimentary because, yes, he's that good with a few pencils and paper.
Normally I wouldn't speak up, but this is my husband we are talking about, he's both talented and honest. I'm very proud of him.
(And if that isn't the one you are referring to then my apologies Smile )

Thanks for being gracious Smile
And back on topic, there are so many talented entries, aren't there?
It makes you wonder if anime fans have a bit higher level of artisticness that might not be found in other hobbies/interests?
I don't envy the judges, there are way more than five that deserve a figure Laughing

I agree! Anime hyper They should order more, especially since figmas are cheaper than normal figures~ I was so shocked and happy to see one of my favorite artists KL enter! That also means I have no chances now orz
Did you enter as well?

ha, ha, yes I did enter but only to make it a 'family' affair. I don't have an artistic bone in my body ... mine is extemely childish and I attempted humor with a play on what I think is one of the visual reasons for Miku's astounding popularity. It was fun to try Smile

I'm laughing to myself while being crushed at the same time because the question means my poor attempt at humor was obviously unsuccessful else mine would be apparent. Laughing Laughing

I hope they are too.

Anyways, all the converted images I received have now been uploaded (note, I didn't replace the PNGs that weren't affected by the bug)

What did the bug do? In the resized thumbnails it converted the white/transparent background to black.

I noticed that for my entry, the semi-full view (aka larger image than thumbnail but still in ANN's site frame) is pixelated. But if you click on it again it shows the image only full sized image, my PNG image looks like it normally does.

They are all nice but I would Vote for Sophie G. I like that drawing the most of the ones i have seen so far.But the Miku and Nina one is a close second.

It's funny, literally just before I viewed that picture I was thinking it would be neat if someone was able to incorporate either Nina or Jadress into the art. Then there it was, Miku and Nina singing together. Very nice.
