Myself I haven't watched Kaleido Star (yet), but I really wish they would make something for fans.

I only remember seeing some brief snippets of Kaleido Star when back when it aired on Cartoon Network Latin America back in the 2000s, but the show was sort of a cult hit here, but thanks to the Internet many people were able to see the show and it has a lot of fans, many of them were disappointed that the latest announcement was only an April Fool's joke, I think a new Kaleido Star anime would be a hit, especially nowadays that there's plenty of remakes.
The only thing that makes me worried is the voice cast, I think the original Japanese voice cast could return to their roles like how most of the original Shaman King and Ranma ½ cast were able to return, but I think it would be difficult for the Latin American Spanish cast to return, since Kaleido was dubbed in Colombia, and very few anime are dubbed there nowadays, they mainly dub small projects for Netflix, though Wit Studio's Moon Rise is going to be dubbed there. I mean, the original Rurouni Kenshin anime was dubbed in Colombia, but the remake is now being dubbed in Cuernavaca, Mexico. At least I would like to hear Shirley Marulanda again as Sora Naegino.

I knew there was more to that April's fool joke!
Some studios did it before and most recent example I recall was Masamune-kun's Revenge,
I really liked the original Kaleido star and wished for the manga spin off to also be animated at the time,
Sadly if it ever ganna get another anime it most likely will be a reboot and I'm skeptic it will be good as the original with today's standards but will remain optimistic either way o/

A lot of shows from that era didn't do nearly as well as they should have. Princess Tutu is another example.

Well,it seems that a lot of people want to see "Kaleido Star" return. I've seen a few episodes of that show. I still have it on DVD. It'd be interesting to see them do another version of this show.

I am a HUGE fan of Kaleido Star. Would love to see something new, perhaps something based and a touring show like cirque du soleil.

Rights might be a quagmire, seeing as Gonzo went bankrupt a few years after that. They restructured, but were a shallow husk of their original selves that only made a few low budget mobile game tie-in shows after that.

Hear good things about it, never watched it. But I know for a fact that it deserves a new anime, either sequel, spin-off or remake, for these simple reasons:
1 - The concept itself is interesting, and...
2 - Certainly deserves more resources spent than most isekai and harem adaptations out there.
It would be a victory for old-school anime fans. Let Kaleido Star fans be happy. I've already given up hope on those two Megazone 23 projects, the full Akira adaptation and that discussed Read or Die anime. To say nothing about how Under the Dog resulted in just an interesting OVA (Not an old property, I know. But it's old school in a couple of aspects).
Best of lucks.

Kaleido Star was great! I’d watch it. I still have my DVDs too. It might be time for a rewatch soon now that I think about it.

A reboot of this anime sure would be something. But Silver Kirin does have a point when it comes to casting.
True, many of the English dub VAs are still active today (Cynthia Martinez (Sora), Serena Varghese (Rosetta), Hilary Haag (May), Kira Vincent-Davis (Anna), Luci Christian (Sarah), Kelly Manison (Macquarie), Tiffany Grant (Charlotte), Jessica Boone (Julie), John Swasey (Ken), Jay Hickman (The Fool), etc.), even though some of those VAs also have other work.
Sandra Krasa (Layla) and Nancy Novotny (Mia) are definitely off the table, as is Yuri's VA (who shall remain nameless for good reason) (Sandra Krasa has long since left anime, and Nancy Novotny has been MIA (no pun intended) since 2017; Yuri's VA-- Well, you know).
If a reboot was possible and Crunchyroll (who license the original today) dubbed it, I'd recommend Anastasia Munoz become Layla's new VA, and Christina Kelly would voice Mia, as they're as close to the OGs as can get. Yuri's new ideal VA-- Not quite sure who.

The Anime had about 5 Episodes of Story and 46 of Filler. The whole Concept was unique, but oh my god was it boring to watch.
If they actually go for a Remake, they need to actually Remake everything.

This would be such a nostalgia if happening. I don't remember much of the story, but I remember being so 'empowered' by it.
