I originally assumed the reboot would be three seasons, but at the current pace, it’ll be at least four.

Not surprising, this has been a great adaptation so far. I'm curious If season 3 will only be one cour. I can't imagine needing 2 to wrap up Kyoto unless they wanna just jump straight into the next arc, though I have no clue how much material actually remains after Kyoto.

With the current pace, to just end Kyoto arc they still need another 20+, and then there is Jinchuu arc - which is pretty much the same size as Kyoto, so it needs another 40+. Anyway there's still a lot of time to do the stuff considering Noitamina is already booked up to October anyway.
Well, you can add actual women exploiters to that considering it is Noitamina block anime (and thus it means it's sponsored and running on Fuji TV), while also adding Aniplex that produced it - and you get way more criminals that just Watsuki. The industry is crooked, and you cannot escape it. |

Bold of you to presume that i don't pirate it like many people. Not that's important, the anime is good. Everyone liked act age before it was cancelled by the author being a creep, and most people can't hate the manga because of it, It was great and i was sad that we will never see its ending even the author being what he is. |

To be fair, it was also slightly mitigated with the fact that Act-Age was made by author/artist duo, where the artist was completely innocent woman who got herself in the crossfires for the author's completely screwed up behavior while the manga ended prematurely. |

i for one dont use pirate sites for they are not worth the costs anymore.
tell that to the reviewers who more or less have blacklisted reviewing this entire series and labeled the first season the worst of 2024! not because of the author's perverted hobbies, its because the original did not needed a remake! but the fact that it got a second season, and is now getting a third one to boot more or less mean that japanese anine community as a whole doesnt really give a damn to the perverted like hobbies of mr watasuki. along as anime adaptation for the kenshin manga is good, WHO CARES? thats is pretty much what their community is more or less telling the rest of the outside world! |

I liked the season, but these last few episodes had a lot of filler. They basically had a lot Aoshi filler scenes in this season, they even gave him an extra battle with Kenshin.

Watsuki is a disgusting person, but like someone else pointed out, the entertainment industry is filled with disgusting people, you can’t boycott literally everything. |

Why did this season have so many filler scenes towards the end? It's like the moment the heroes discover Shisho's plan, we're given filler scene after filler scene.

Was it filler? I honestly don't remember how the original handled things and I've never read the manga. But I can imagine they want to end at a good stopping point and not just stop in the middle of things.

Reviews don't matter. Heck, the more outrage a show attracts from certain crowds the more attention it usually gives the show to everyone else and makes it more successful like Shield Hero, Mushoku Tensei, Redo of Healer, and Darling in the Franxx.
Yes it did. The original anime ended with a bunch of filler and got canned before the Jinchu arc got adapted and people have been clamoring for a new one for decades. They could have just done a continuation like Bleach did and pick up where the original anime left off but they didn't want to I guess. It would be mildly funny and also infuriating if the new adaption also doesn't get to Jinchu arc either though. |

Not surprising. A 3rd Season can officially finish the Kyoto Arc. Hell maybe we can even get a 4th and 5th Season to adapt the Final Arc?
