Whoa, I expect a lot of Blinks (Blackpink's fandom name) to be taking this news with a lot of anticipation.

Geez, the Blackpink gals are getting lots of acting work these days. Jisoo in this and Lisa in The White Lotus Season 3.

Jennie appeared on HBO's The Idol, and her appearance got more attention then the main cast of that short-lived show. Oh, and this isn't Jisoo's first drama, she has appeared on 2 other K-drama before this: Snowdrop (it's on Disney+ in the US), & Newtopia. So yeah, don't underestimate the power of K-pop fandoms and that include Blinks. |

Jisoo is, as the kids say, a nepo baby. An extreme version of one. Her family is one of the richest and most connected in the Korean industries- part of the reason why she worked for YG in the first place as an idol. |
