Now if that Internet simulcast was English subtitled, and allowed to the rest of the world, that would be the perfect solution to the fansub problem.

They wouldn't be able to make money from free English subtitled versions.
I expected more from this project but after watching the trailer this seems to be quite generic. I think I'll pass.

And the difference is? At least they might be able to get some ads on the stream and it's those they will make the money off, Also with a bit of internet cleverness they could also have regional ads for what ever country can download it. They do that sort of thing here on ANN.

Gonzo again, eh?
I must say they always hit the nail with the soundtrack.
Unfortunately, not with the anime itself.
It's worth checking out nonetheless.

Is there an IP restriction with Gyao?
Edit: Nevermind the article answered that question. They really need to remove the IP restricition this time. They have GONZO DOGA so why couldn't they put it there?

Youtube's ad support is sketchy at best at this moment, whereas Gyao has a slew of local Japanese advertisers signed on showing real ads as well as many online e-shopping tie-ins, plus boasting well over 1.5 million Japanese domestic active users. Gyao also has better streaming quality over Youtube due to its much higher bitrate stream and its parent company USEN operates an ISP in Japan which has its own domestic internet infrastructure. It makes perfect business sense to put it on Gyao rather than on Youtube when their aim is to serve solely the domestic Japanese audience.

I loved the games, but this anime just doesn't do it for me. I will pass.

Wow,Namco just won't let their ancient Druaga series die.I'm shocked. It's good to hear. But Namco really needs some new material.I am interested in how this turns out.
