I think it would have been better to not show any humans, like in the games. I just want to see the mechs

But then you can’t sell it as having Keanu Reeves.
The preview of the mecha combat looks pretty good, admittedly always a big concern of mine with Western writers.

I agree; the lack of human faces in Armored Core is a major part of its vibe and pushes the storytelling in an interesting direction. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to only see Keanu and get some sense of the isolation of piloting. Does anyone know how much the game studios contributed versus just letting the animation team do what they wanted?
