Hmmm… so they won’t cover the rest of Off Season? I thought Off Season would be 14 episodes.

WDYM? It still will be 14 episodes (more precisely 13.5 or 14.5 depending on how Shinobus backstory prologue is counted). But they wont adapt all Off & Monster Season novels this season. It does not mean we won't get more seasons. It is just that they will adapt a few Off Season novels + this one from Monster season to justify the season name this time.

14 epoisodes was never enough to adapt all of the Off season anyway.

Maybe they held off adapting Musubimonogatari until after Monster Season? Since it takes place after the monster story events? (if i recall right?)

I just meant that I thought that they wouldn’t start Monster Season until episode 15. But I also didn’t realize that it would actually take more than 14 episodes to cover Off Season.

As someone who never read the novel, I wouldn’t know the answer to that. I do still hope for a complete adaptation though, even if this isn’t in the same order as the novels (not that the anime ever was).
