Really? MAPPA gotta milk that cash cow for all it’s worth since the CEO is a gold digger. At least the poor overworked and underpaid slaves, I mean employees, won’t have too much work to do since the five episodes should easily turn into a 100 minute movie if nothing new is added.

Probably the best arc from the series so I can see why.

MAPPA doesn't have control over every single thing that happens to JJK as an IP. Even though they are part of the committee, they still are below Toho when it comes to investment.

The more likely scenario is that Toho releases to keep the anime still going, but the Culling Games is very early in production since most of the team should be on CSM's movie instead.

This is quite funny coming from someone who just recently posted about how excited they are for the cherry magic compilation movie Laughing I also don't seem to have seen any criticism from you about the recently released 2 movies compilation of "Bocchi the rock". I guess that milking doesn't matter since it's not MAPPA? They must certainly be doing it out of passion and not greed Laughing Laughing

(This might also not be the best context to call someone a "gold digger", btw)

Which means no sequel until the recap movie had it's run in the theaters.
Highly disappointing.

I think all compilation films are cash grabs. They’re unnecessary unless they add something that couldn’t be there before. I don’t really remember compilation films being much of a thing 20+ years ago. You usually got an original film that didn’t tie in with the anime.

I am looking forward to the Cherry Magic compilation movie because they stated there would be new scenes not in the anime (most likely sexier scenes they can’t air on tv). This will be the first compilation film I’ve watched (if Crunchyroll licenses it). I still think this is a cash grab by Satelight.

I didn’t know Bocci had two compilation films but I believe two is one too many. It’s a 12 episode show. It’s clearly a cash grab by CloverWorks based on the show’s popularity.

I’m personally unaware of any specific issues at Satelight or CloverWorks but if I’m made aware of them, then of course I would have criticized them for making the compilation movies as well. I don’t believe in overworking and abusing employees just because I’m a supervisor or executive who constantly wants employees to accomplish miracles without providing them additional pay and necessary time off to recuperate. I’m of the opinion that no job is worth that. Life is entirely too short.
