Ubel Blatt: How would you like a shoe-string plot about revenge=bad that wouldn't impress a 5th grader that is really just an excuse for the auther to draw a prepubescent boy (who is ACTUALLY an adult) fondle and sleep with large-breasted women?!?!?! ALSO EDGE!
Everyone over the age of 14: N-no...? JFC that sounds awful. Ubel: Oh...well...uhhh....did I mention the EDGE...? But on a more serious note, thank you trailer for reminding me of the existence of Peepi....another EXAMPLE of everything wrong with this manga/show. |

I am not concerned that this anime might have some politically incorrect things in it. It wouldn't be a dark fantasy show if it wasn't edgy with lots of horrific death, rape and a whole lot worse. That is the whole nature of dark fantasy shows.
My concern is that Ubel Blatt is a very action heavy story. The main and secondary characters are almost always fighting epic battles against soldiers and monsters etc. I always assumed that it never got an adaptation before because animating all that action was too cost prohibitive. This trailer does not convince me that they have solved that issue. |
