Quick thoughts:
So given that Sugita is voicing the narrator, it is likely that the narration is being provided in-universe by Sugita's character, Asuka R. Kreutz.
Unika hating gears puts a wrench in the theory many people had that she was the missing Valentine (the one The Original took the name Happy Chaos from).
The red hair we can see on the right at 0:22 is almost assuredly belongs to Jack-O' Valentine.

We really needed a Street Fighter Victory/Rurouni Kenshin-style Guilty Gear anime back in the days of the PS2.

It's wild to think it's taken this long, and now we're looking at 2025. I cant help but note the 2025 anime looks aesthetically different as all hell from the PS2 games. If we'd have gotten this back in the PS2 era, I cant help but wonder if GG fighters would have been a little less-niche over the years.

My main character from what was years of AC+R doesn't quite feel right in any of the newer games, so I've kinda fallen off after all of this time. I am legitimately interested in what sort of numbers the show will pull in and if it will be any sort of shot in the arm for Strive.

Strive is already the best selling game in the franchise, and for this years EVO tournament it's the game with the 3rd most entrants (Behind Street Fighter 6 & Tekken 8, both of which are newer by over 2 years).
The series has never been in a better place, so it would be less "a shot in the arm" and more "icing on the cake".

It kinda doesn't feel like a proper Guilty Gear anime trailer without some Daisuke Ishiwatari blasting full volume in it...

I guess to clarify, I meant it in the context of "will an anime show give it a boost and keep its good momentum going". Guilty Gear has always been a bit niche, and its story is relatively off-the-wall & convoluted to new people seeing it for the first time - at least when compared to "Ryu and Ken travel the world to be the best at martial arts". Bison showing up in SF6 as a DLC character is definitely going to turn heads, while Slayer (I think he's the latest Strive DLC yeah?) is mostly going to be for the players that know him & how he works - though I am open to being incorrect in that assumption.

2000-ish registrants isn't anything to sneeze at, but Granblue (which is a much newer property) is right behind it. SF6 and Tekken combined are about almost 10K people devoted between them. If Strive can hold strong, especially when the other two games are newer, that's definitely impressive, but as a longtime fan I still wouldn't mind seeing things like the Habbo Hotel lobbies reworked and the series finding an overall wider audience. SNK has new stuff in the pipeline and Marvel is making a return, it will be interesting to see what the registrant list looks like in 2025, and I do not want to see Strive fall lower on the list.
