I wonder if this is gonna be as much of a headache to get in Germany as the original is. They've unbanned tons of other games before, especially when publishers pushed for that when during a re-release or remaster or something, and have generally been pretty chill with bans and censorship in the past decade or so, so I would hope so but who knows...

I can't wait to see Digital Foundry, & AustinSV to do a version comparison between this new remaster for 9th gen consoles aka PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, and the 2016 8th generation console (PS4/Xbox One) 1st remaster in the same manner that The Last of Us PS5/PS4 and the PS3 version has been compared.

I can't wait to see if this remaster version would be superior over the 2016 re-release or should people stick with the 2016 remaster.

By far the most significant change any remaster has made to its original game in the history of video game remasters.

Fun fact, Capcom wanted to give Frank as much coverage as possible in crossovers for good publicity and hype for Dead Rising. As a result, he made his fighting game debut in Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, albeit voiced by Peter von Gomm instead of T.J. Rotolo.

For Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (though he WAS originally supposed to debut in vanilla), Koyama Rikiya debuted as Frank's Japanese voice, while Rotolo returned. In the 3DS crossover rpg Project X Zone, Koyama returns as Frank, who is paired up with Ling-ling/Lei-lei/Hsien-ko of Darkstalkers, giving him an opportunity to interact with other Capcom characters he fought alongside in UMvC3, but in a multiversal crossover (particularly Resident Evil Revelations Chris and Jill instead of RE5 counterparts in UMvC3) with Bandai Namco and Sega characters in addition.

Since Marvel vs Capcom Infinite only ever recorded dialogue in English, this would be the last time Rotolo played the part before the last DR replaced him for an 'older, edgier' voice (BIG mistake).

It muddles the water so much when they call both remakes and remasters "remasters", in my opinion this seems like a remake.

Would think bringing Frank back as the main character of 4 despite two and three having new characters while also taking place in the same location as the 1st game were the actual issues with that game.

Distant relative of labeling a project as a sequel that’s actually a prequel

I genuinely think the original graphics look a lot better. The lighting especially looks worse even if it's technically more advance with HDR and bloom and all that. The colors just look washed out to me.
