I would not have expected this to get an English release. Shocked

Though I'd imagine they'll forever be behind from the Japanese in a lot of the events. And also how long will it last here?

This is big news and not really expected. I have no excuse not to play it when it comes out.

Good for people who only know English, but I really question how long this will last.

Probably as long as One Piece has been airing

You think so? I guess this just doesn't seem like the type of game to do too well in English to me but maybe I will be wrong.

Yeah I don’t think this will last long either. Anecdotal I know, but your average horse racing enthusiast is probably older — cutesy horse girls with squeaky voices moonlighting as pop idols would be their kryptonite. In my home country, racing days tend to be more of a fashion outing for people than genuine keenness in horse racing. I’m not going to pretend I know horse racing in Japan but the market there seems huge, going by the apps and adverts and sheer floor space for it in arcades and pachinko parlours…

Cygames handled the translation and publishing in-house, unlike priconne. So probably as long as the Japanese version prints enough money just like GBF and Shadowverse.

I've already been playing fan translations since 2022 so starting all over from scratch isn't too appealing, but said fan translation is also woefully out of date and a fuckton of stuff still isn't translated.

Being over three years behind the Japanese version is rough, though.
