Thank goodness, I don't know what I'm going to do with the hole in my life when I watch that last episode tonight, this is first time I have watched an anime week to week in a long time

Was expecting the announcement, glad it's shortly after the finale and not a few months down the line.

Wth this pace it should take another 20 eps or so to finish, the first half was really well done.

The Kadokawa trailer only gets interesting at the end, as it's the only scene from the adaptation currently being worked on. Suffice to say, the mad mage isn't going down without a fight. The red dragon in the first quarter was just a warm up for what the five have to face in the next adaptation.

Studio Trigger can take their time with this one. Better the final product is as good or better than the last 24 episodes than to rush it and disappoint a lot of eager viewers.

I was so glad to see that "To Be Continued" before the ending credits. This is my favorite show of the year so far, and with all the love Trigger put into this adaptation, it would be a shame for it to be incomplete.

Not a surprise, since by all indications this has been a big success. (It was cosplayed remarkably heavily at a major anime convention I attended last month.) Its continuation will definitely be on my most-anticipated list for whatever season it lands in.

Expected but still very welcome news. One of the most creative and imaginative titles I've ever come across.

I was admittedly a little worried when I saw the show wasn't hitting the Netflix Top 10 in the US the way My Happy Marriage was with the weekly releases, but it seems to be doing well enough to score its second season. Which is good because I really enjoyed my routine of watching the show over dinner.

CALLED IT. Given how popular manga and anime are and how the first season hasn’t exactly wrapped everything up, I figured that it would get a second season.

I'm happy that we didn't have to wait for an announcement, given that the Manga is finished and all. Maybe Kadokawa will licence season 2 to someone else, but I doubt I will be that lucky.

Why would wouldn't you want Studio Trigger to continue to work on the anime?

Or do you mean license to a streamer other than Netflix? (any reason why you would want that?)
