That's pretty surprising. I wonder if less people were using it, or if they have some kind of replacement planned?

Not surprising
They have a mix of seasons and not everything on there.
If a movie gets added, it is on there for like a month.
Cool concept and they have years worth of content, so it should have worked.
The extra promo content was cool, but really mismanaged.

This is kind of frustrating as it's the only app that has all of the Kanto and Orange Island as Netflix only has the first 50 episodes and a good chunk of the anime isn't streaming anywhere outside of the random rotation episodes on this app. It's annoying the Pokemon anime is spread across multiple apps to watch any of it instead of just having it all on Netflix.

I don't know why only the first half of Kanto (Season 1) is the only one on Netflix but not the second half let alone Orange to Johto (Seasons 2 through 5). I was getting back to Pokemon at the start of the new year in preparations for Horizons. I also wonder why rotate each season instead of keeping it on the app or something.

Viz/TPCi only ever remastered the first 50something episodes and then gave up, and I'm assuming Netflix doesn't want to drop the latter half as SD only for whatever reason. It'd be nice if they upscaled the rest of Kanto for streaming only, at least.

I see. I guess Viz/TPCi didn't care or just lost interest in releasing the rest of the OG series after Kanto on Netflix or at least upscale it to better SD-HD quality.

I remember when Disney had Pokemon you could watch every episode and movie on the Disney X-D site free as long as you had their channel with your cable subscription and that was real nice.
