Literally all they have to do is add in the same systems the Quest version got for RE4 VR Classic, and this is going to be pure fire. I tend to roll my eyes at how often RE4 has been re-released over & over again since its Gamecube debut, but it legitimately has been a life-changing experience suddenly being able to handle the weapons like I would at an IRL firing range.

Keep in mind the controls are MORE responsive and tight than they are on a controller if you have them configured correctly. If you think you're good at navigating that opening village mob, it's an entirely different beast doing so while the villagers are physically in front of you and screaming at your face. You can easily out-maneuver them with a controller, but in VR the added pressure of managing a proper reload without nervously dropping the ammo clip turns the split-second decisions you have to process up to 11.

I'd love if it was a real workout, haha. I'd have so much fun from running and gunning, but imagine what Mercenaries mode would be like, especially as Wesker!

It's pretty good cardio, but because you're not really getting any resistance as you move, it's mainly only cardio. It will be interesting to see how Remake does it, but in RE4 Classic, a lot of the cardio seems to come from running (very intense in Merc mode) and the knife/CQC moments because you have to be very spatially aware while quickly/precisely swinging.

My one concern with this being on PS5 is that it has a wire. On a Quest headset you can run wherever you want and the game is literally strapped to your face, but with the Remake currently only on PS5 you're going to have to be constantly worried about tangling the video cable and yanking your PS5 off of a shelf.
