I haven't bought it yet, but I've watched a few Mario streamers play the first world. I think my favorite Wonder Flower effect is the one in the second level, "Piranha Plants on Parade". (Look out, look out…)

Yeah, that was really great. I was watching Punkalopi play it for the first time, and she fell in love with it. Coolest moment in the early game, by far.

Can't wait until I'm able to get it, I played the demo in person and it was great for the two levels I was able to get through.

Even though I hate the phrase, this game is subverting the expectations for a Mario game. Sure, the boss fights may be a a bit bland, but this is the only negative upon an otherwise positively perfect game review for a sequel that actually follows the past yet looks forward to the future with its innovations! I have not felt this excited for a Mario game since SMB3/World first came out in the neo-gamer years of 1990/1991!
