I love my Wacom tablet - indispensible! I use Photoshop and Manga Studio Pro personally...

I just bought a 6x8 wacom the other day; should be here soon.

Kinda figure the Bamboos are a little small for art since they're only 4x5. Aren't they otherwise marketed more as a basic tablet interface rather than an art tool?

I just looked at the Wacom web site. Looks like they are replacing the USB Graphires with the Bamboos. The Bluetooth Graphire is still on the site. The Bamboo comes only in small (4x5?) but the Bamboo Fun comes in small (4x5?) and medium (6x8?) . The Bamboo does not come bundled with any software.

Explains the many new boxes of tablets I've seen lately. Yeah they are cheaper than my tablet I got not so long ago Anime hyper. For anyone that have had it, is it better than the standard ones Wacom has made?

I've had a 4x5 Graphire2 for years (I bought it when I was 11 thinking it would make me a better artist), and I don't know what I would do without it. I was worried that it would be too small for art (the 4x5 was all I could afford), but it works wonderfully for airbrushing and all of that good stuff. It also fits nicely on my desktop, and I like how I can put the tablet on my lap and use the pen as a mouse when my arm starts to get sore.

As long as you've got the ratio of motion on the screen set right, it really doesn't make much difference; I've used bigger tablets and found them rather cumbersome because I have to move my hand further to achieve the same thing. I would, however, love one of those TabletPC things, where you draw right on the screen. -drool-
