The Wallflower is based on the long-running manga series by Tomoko Hayakawa, 13 volumes of which have already been published in North America by Del Rey Manga.
That's a warning sign telling me that maybe I should just get the manga then, because it sounds like this series has one of those pointless "go read the manga Wink Wink " non-endings. This is judging from some other reviews out there -- I never saw any of the fansubs. (By contrast, the similar bishounen-fest Ouran HS Host Club manages to have a dramatic and effective ending, even though the manga continues on.) Oh well, at least I don't have to feel guilty about waiting for the Bargain Bin clearance on this one.

But the Sorcerer Hunters collection should be great fun, especially since it's one of those old-time ADV dubs that takes a lot of comedic liberties with the script and winds up improving things. (Judging from the little I've seen here and there.) Now if only it could've included Sorcerer on the Rocks AKA Chivas 1-2-3. Luckily that's selling for under $10 used on amazon.

Do yourself a great big favor and rent the first volume of the anime before you even think about purchasing it - even from the Bargain Bin. Reaction to this series was pretty mixed when it was making the fansub rounds - I dropped it after two episodes primarily because the artwork made my eyes bleed - and judging from the sharp decline in comments on various boards and blogs it appears that viewer interest dropped off about midway through the series run. So I'd advise giving this one a test run to make sure it is to your personal taste before you invest any real money.
