Mashima is well known for being an speedy drawer and having a good work ethic, so he draws extra chapters whenever he wants.

A good example was Fairy Tail Zero, when the time of doing a flashback telling the Guild's past came, he kept drawing Fairy Tail while drawing Zero as a monthly series.

Even now he draws Eden's Zero while supervising FT 100YQ.

He doesn't just supervise 100YQ, he's the storyboarder. And this is on top of him writing an original anime and doing the designs/story for the game Project Magia.

It would be nice If we got a new Rave anime.

Never say never. We did see the characters pop up in a cross-over. Perhaps one day...

The FT/Rave OVA was ten years ago, and I don't know if they'd adapt Mashima Hero's.

So keeping up with the Demon King gimmick only it's a Dark Fantasy instead of Sci-Fi? I wonder how it'll compare to Fairy Tail.

Also will the Heroine be a Lucy/Rebecca lookalike? Will we get a succubus?

I wonder how he built up the skill to be a speedy drawer. Are other authors as fast as him?

He was drawing since 90s, pretty much constantly.

He had enough practice.

With his level of quality?

Doubt it, I still remember the BS that is the Alvarez' Capital design, or the Eden's Zero Ship.

Specially the ship, he needs to draw that thing constantly and it's full of unnecessary details, and lets not forget his habit of making his characters constantly change clothes between arcs AND during arcs plus Erza's armors, so, there is never a set style he can rely on and use muscle memory to help him

There is a reason his nick name is "Superman".

Wow. This looks just like Shiki’s Overdrive form from this week’s episode of Eden’s Zero, just with a smaller frame. Even the purple outline is almost identical.

It releases the day before Haru's birthday.... the pain. Had a feeling since it was monthly and short, Mashima wouldn't name the MC after the season's. Though, he did say he chose the name Shiki (4 seasons) because it was the culmination of his past works (Haru meaning Spring, Mafuyu meaning mid-winter, Aki meaning Autumn, Natsu meaning Summer).

Once again, RAVE isn't mentioned. The disrespect needs to end.

I'm not understanding the correlation between wanting a new RAVE anime and appearing in a crossover (and I'm assuming you are referring to the OVA, if not, it doesn't change anything I'm about to say regarding the status of RAVE). Before I continue, the RAVE characters have appeared in Fairy Tail's source manga multiple times as cameos (anime scenes removed them) before the crossover happened. A crossover that originated from its source manga version that only got a OVA because of Fairy Tail's popularity and Fairy Tail had a ton of OVA's prior so it was natural that this specific OVA would happen and the source manga version of this OVA was later included as part of Fairy Tail S. Not just that, let's go back to when the source manga of that OVA released. The cover page stated "A dream collaboration with the incredibly popular RAVE!". Keywords: Incredibly popular. The RAVE manga sold 23.5 million. So to Kodansha, 23.5m is "incredibly popular". Never say never? Perhaps one day? The RAVE anime did not adapt the whole manga. It has been 12 years since that crossover released where RAVE was considered incredibly popular. 10 years since the OVA. The 20th anniversary of the RAVE manga and anime went by with no new anime announcement. These are key milestones and they are being missed, especially since its a 90's series and the 2010's had a trend where 90's series were getting revived. Kodansha did not jump on that trend with RAVE. A bunch of other series are getting anime remakes. Let's use something Kodansha related: Shaman King. It sold 38 million as of 2021, but it sold majority (the last sales update under Jump was 26m in 2011 before moving to Kodansha in 2017) of that from Shueisha. Shaman King got a remake anime before RAVE (and not to forget that it was originally called off in 2017 by the creator due to his requirements).

It is quite clear that RAVE is stuck in manga or crossover manga hell and RAVE itself doesn't have the power to make a remake anime to happen despite it being labeled "incredibly popular". If RAVE does appear in animated form again, it will be as part of a crossover because of the popularity of Mashima's other work(s) at the time or else a remake anime would have happened by now.

We really shouldn't have to compare, even if it's easy with how every Mashima series wears its references on it sleeve, even Rave (Plue was around in "Magician", his first submitted work for a publisher, and even before that as a middle school doodle).

But really, just about every heroine he draws has the same face (Elie from Rave Master, Tooran from Monster Soul, Ailee from Monster Hunter Orage, Emma from Gate of Nightmares, whatever-her-name-is from the upcoming Project Magia, etc.).
