All I see listed is "Art Director"...
Oh, nevermind. I found them in the drop down menu. Not exactly obvious. |

Yuck, Tokyopop really needs to go back to their old layout, the one before the last one that they used for years. The last ones and current ones are far to crowded and browsing is a huge pain. I used to visit their site every week but I don't go their unless I absolutely have to now.

Business is good for manga, yet Geneon is going Tango Uniform.
Lessons to learn? |

If only it wasn't in California. I'm looking for a job in publishing.

1. Pretend to be actual manga publisher by licensing Japanese titles no one is interested in 2. Feed on psychologically weak young fantards desiring to be "famouse comick artistes" 3. Shovel out anything based on pop-culture properties beloved by Joe Soccer Mom Middle America 4. ??? 5. PROFIT!!! |

Is that a 4-chan reference I see? But as another poster said, I don't go to their site unless I absolutely have to now. It's turned into the manga version of myspace. |

Arg. I would love a great copy editing job after I graduate this quarter. California, here we come...
Nah. I'm not sure I would want to be a personal assistant to Stuart Levy. He creeps the hell out of me just based on his DJ Milky persona. |

What they need to do seriously is to fire "DJ Milky" and hire a competent President. Alot of the stuff their pumping out is just plain sad. And they still make serious errors in Initial D.

...can't fire the owner. Which is why he isn't President, and is founder and CEO. And for all that's worth, he is obviously satisfying Tokyopop's other investors. |
