Wow, I wish I could go! I really enjoyed To Terra, and it'd be interesting to hear Takemiya's take on the manga industry today. I happened to be in Kyoto's Manga Museum at just the right time for the To Terra exhibit this summer, so it seems like 30 years later this manga is still getting attention.

Wow, A Manga Festival happening in my hometime but some how I doubt I'm going to go. UBC is an ass to get to and I have classes to attend except for Friday but all my friends do. Maybe if it was on a weekend. . .

I never would've believed that Vancouver would ever have a manga festival or the sort. I might consider going since it's not too far from where I live...
