NEWS: KAKERU's Legend of Heaven's Door Manga Enters Final Arc

what is Manga Club? i cant find the series anywhere in the site i found (manga.club) and i also cant find the series in english in any of the pirate sites ( really my last option, since they tend to gather scans from various sites )

I marathoned this one a while ago, kinda has the same problem I had with Made in Abyss.

The author's fetishes and the gratuitous sexually charged content (similarly also using lolicon stuff) interrupting the otherwise engaging exposition and storytelling kinda had me having mixed feelings the whole ride. This one actually goes nearly hentai territory, it's far more towards the smut side of things (not unexpected, knowing the author's career at Comic LO).

Will read it to the end though, I had a feeling it was ending soon.

how did you read it? i asked the service and supposedly its available worldwide but for sure that isnt true, and id hate to hire a vpn and find out is not because of location (im from south america and a lot of times we dont get these online manga services) but knowing a location is available on i could read it

After seeing this article and learning about it having an english translation, I tried looking into why it's unavailable on Manga.club and did some research...

So the manga is actually not region-locked but was discontinued as far back as March 21, 2021! How I discovered this tidbit of news was by looking into the page's description hidden in the html code.

I also tried wayback machine and noticed that the "read for free" images for Legend of Heaven's Door also didn't work! So I tried testing every other manga that was still available on manga.club in wayback and learned the reason why that one manga wasn't working...

The images themselves were deleted off of Manga.club's cdn (content delivery network) as the images weren't archived on wayback, only directly linked.

This means the manga is truly unavailable for viewing no matter what.

Therefore I decided to contact Manga.club and they responded confirming that the series was discontinued due to their license being terminated.

Hopefully this series gets re-licensed and released somewhere else in the future!
*Internet points for you if you get the lil reference in the quote above, should be pretty obvious if you watched a certain anime that doesn't have season 2 yet!
