Yet they still haven't gotten to America. Oh well, we can't have everything.

Considering all the options that the North American market has for this kind of potential viewer, it is probably smart to just go into places that have no options and capture the market right off the bat. It takes competition out of the picture, at least for a while.

I guarantee South Africans watch Animax more than other Africans there regardless of the ethnicities.

Hey, you joined just to post that? Haha...But your point is valid.

I wonder in what language the shows will be aired in, however.

We still have the silly situation of Animax transmitting to the EU from the UK, but not to the UK. Rolling Eyes

Animax gets to Africa before North America.

That is an all-time low. Does this continent just suck or what?

So I'm pretty sure Antarctica's going to get Animax before we do.

Penguins love anime!

that would be pretty cool. All the penguins crowding around the television just to see penguins killing each other to see the latest episode of FMA.

An anime in Antarctica... I'm sure Shinichi Watanabe would be excited to make an anime with penguins watching anime,

I think Animax is having hard time getting some anime titles just for the U.S market, but if they ever enter someday most likely thier anime titles will be sourced only from Bandai and Geneon....

Most likely they'll use english dubs on the African feed..Though i wonder if they'll get also those crappy Hong Kong english dubs from Animax Asia...

Because it was once a colony of Portugal, the national or official language of Mozambique is Portuguese.

Will this be a problem? Do many educated Mozambicans speak English? Is this a non-issue? Or what?

One possible solution may be Portuguese dubbed anime from Portugal and Brazil.
