Very exciting to see everyone had a great time.

While certainly not newbie-friendly, this premiere brought exactly what Bleach fans were waiting for.

As it shouldn't be. We were in the 2010's and are in the 2020's. Technology is at its most technological. So many ways to read and watch Bleach with ease within these 10 years. Staff shouldn't have to waste an episode to do a recap before jumping into the final arc.

It was clear that the series has meant a lot to them since it started airing on Toonami

Bleach premiered on Adult Swim in 2006.

Not that I'm complaining ,just curious about something. How come this didn't get an early preview of the 1st episode like Chainsaw Man did in the guide?

It's been 10 years and that's a long time to pick back up a story with no introduction

We all knew about Bleach anime sequel for a while now; honestly, enough time to refresh our memories in the meantime.

Nahhhh might lead to some anger and harsh criticism of blown potential and questionable writing decisions.

I concur. I gave up on the series during one of the filler arcs. It's my understanding that the manga, towards the end of its run, had issues which resulted in it being unceremoniously ended. If the manga did indeed have serious issues at the end, then I'm apprehensive about how this series will end up.

Good question. To be honest, I gave up on Bleach years ago on Toonami once the filler started after the Grimmjow fight. Recently, thanks to a push from a friend, I restarted watching and skipped ALL filler. It’s good, especially when viewed multiple episodes in a row. Looking forward to seeing the new arc (and hopefully
Improvements).

More like "Is anyone a Bleach fan?"

I kid, I kid -- although I'm somebody who still considers everything up through the end of the Soul Society arc to be my favorite battle shounen arc of all time, I dropped the anime during the Fullbringer arc but read the entire manga... and I can barely remember anything about the final arc at all. I recognize a few of these character designs but nothing about them. So, I'm actually rather interested in whether the new season ends up being any good from the perspective of somebody who lost interest in the series a long time ago.

Former staff member Jacob Chapman was probably the kindest to it, and even then they would most likely not call themselves a super-fan.
