What are kinetic novels, exactly? I read the article and they seem interactive/multimedia novels, but I'm still a bit lost... ^^'

They’re visual novels that have a linear story and lack any sort of branching routes or choices that affect the story.

Looking forward to this. The anime was quite nice!
I'm curious where Haizakura & co. will go from here in the sequel volumes...

If these releases follow the same pattern as Key's other recent Kinetic Novels, they'll be released as PC games at first, with mobile & console ports potentially coming sometime after.

Most likely it's full episodic VN, so PC (and consoles, maybe).
