Not that interested in RF3 since it doesn't have a female mc option, but great that it's getting a remake since the DS game is very hard to find these days.

Also, development on Rune Factory 6 was confirmed too!

Don't let this stop you from playing it. RF3 is probably the highlight of the entire series, with a wonderful story and cast of characters (it's the RF where I had the most trouble deciding who I wanted to marry!). The farming and crafting are solid as well. I will definitely be double-dipping on this one.

Will the picture dramas be available in English, I wonder?

Also, excited at the prospect of a new Rune Factory entry!

I really liked this game on the NDS, it has a nice mix of farming and action RPG. It's a shame that while that looked really pretty on NDS, this version looks pretty ugly.

If you’re talking about the ‘Newlywed Mode’ thing, yeah, it was available as part of the game for 4 Special.

Even with an exclusively male PC I am SO looking forward to revisiting this one - 4 is fantastic, but 3’s cast are some of my all-time favorites and I do enjoy Micah as a character playing off the mayhem of Sharence. When I saw this announced I actively shouted with glee.

I hope they leave in SOME vestige of the original OP sequence, though. (I will NOT mind in the slightest them changing the second to be less Default Girl Wins.) I genuinely enjoy Happiness as an intro, singer clearly struggling in the English version and all (and the Japanese version’s solid - Kana Yazumi is clearly a good singer, it’s just a clunky rewrite in a language she doesn’t speak well,) and it’d be nice to see that animation in a higher resolution.
