I think it's great we are getting reboots/remakes/squeals to older manga series. I'm already getting my most wanted one (Urusei Yatsura) and now I'm thinking of what else could use one. Problem is some would need to be tone down a bit due to content and i'm not just saying that for westerns sake.

Something tells me we'll get an anime reboot out of this manga, though.

I'm still holding out hope they'll continue animating the rest of Watamote. After the first, it really expanded beyond its original scope.

I feel like if we're going to continue to see years-later adaptations of manga the ones I really most want to see off the top of my head are more Watamote and Mysterious Girlfriend X, though I find it kind of miraculous the latter got an anime to begin with so I really, really doubt that's ever going to happen.

Be neat to see more seasons of Chio's School Road and Hinamatusi too but both of those feel very doubtful.

Never say never. We did get another season of "The Devil is a Part-Timer". All great picks by the way. Smile

Nice little bit of history.

Also shouldn’t it be “new” anime since they already made an Anime of And Yet The Town Moves?

Considering the state that Trigun Stampede and Hoshi no Samidare are getting released in, it might honestly be for the best if SoreMachi doesn't get a new anime. Wouldn't want production comitees to defile yet another great manga...

I kind of wonder what goes into reviving certain series and finally adapting them (or re-adapting them, as the case may be).

Hey, we don’t know how TS is going to look in motion, it’s nowhere near finished.

HNS/LATBH has no excuse though

Seeing this article got me to try to remember the last time I heard that obnoxious nasally noise from a Chiaki Omigawa lead, but she hasn't had much work lately has she?

She's a somewhat important character in the first few episodes of Birdie Wing, but yeah, that's hardly a starring role.
