If it's anything like Bloodborne (Masaaki Yamagiwa) and Nioh (Fumihiko Yasuda), another good day-1 Game Pass release

Probably the only good game out of this event along with Silksong.
Will definitely get on Game Pass if it ends up not running on Windows 7, but even with Nioh 2 there was a way around that.

Basically Nioh in the three kingdom period I guess. I doubt it will be an xbox exclusive, so a pretty safe buy for me.

I wonder if this is basically Nioh in Three Kingdoms China. It'd be cool if they somehow manage to implement horseback riding into the gameplay.

Given it's Koei Tecmo, I'd expect it to be exactly that. They pretty much exhausted all the big shots in Japanese mythology in Nioh 1 and 2 so moving on to China is a good idea.

100%. In an interview shortly after Nioh 1's release, Kou Shibusawa said that this is what he wanted to do.
Of course they teased Lu Bu at the end, and I can only imagine what sort of sadistic gameplay Team Ninja came up with for their interpretation of him.

Not really considering they also make The Romance Of The Three Kingdoms and Dynasty Warriors.
