An announcement about this three weeks in advance, for two shows that both air on the same day, suggests that this could be programming issues rather than production issues.

Anyway, if this had to happen, this is the ideal week for a delay. Anime Central will leave me little time for watching anime that weekend anyway.

If this is a programming issue, I wonder if the delay only affects the premiere on TBS or if it also affects the streaming premiere of these episodes?

I have to imagine that part of the contract for streaming is that it can't leapfrog the TV airing.

More than likely. OA TV has enough trouble keeping up streaming I imagine, I doubt they'd look too kindly on a deal that allows them to lose even the chance to compete by stuff debuting on streaming services first.

I was uncertain about this show at first but think it may indeed have value, so will spend some time watching what we have released so far. thanks for this news, i am sure it is a sincere issue that had to be dealt with without further fuss so I am glad things are being taken care of well.

Two different studio, but the same broadcaster means it's likely on TBS for the delay. I wonder what the reason is and if that will mess up the broadcast of the last episode?
