Cool! I enjoyed the anime, but at only 11 episodes I had the impression that they weren't going into as much depth as they could have (especially about the background of the setting--the anime was very plot-driven). Hopefully the manga will help flesh it out somewhat.

It's been a good few days to be a Jyu Oh Sei fan Very Happy Tokyopop isn't my top choice for manga licensors (sometimes their translations are a bit lacking in quality -- typos and dumbing down are my beefs) but they can do some good work *hopes for color pages* and I'll be happy enough just to be able to read the manga in English.

That's the understatement of the month. Very Happy I also liked the anime a lot (beautiful visuals, beautiful music~), but it pretty much butchered the story, stripping it of everything except its bare bones. They left out about 80% of background info which had its effect on the story and the characters; and to make it worse, they completely missed the last twist and the whole point of the story - spoiler[the whole part about the evolution of a new breed of humans on Chimaera] - along with most of the twins/alteregos symbolism.

I don't know whose great idea it was to make an 11 episode series out of a very info-heavy 5 volume manga, but I hope s/he'll never work on adaptations again.
