Sazae-san fans said not on my watch. That's why Sazae-san is the GOAT. You may top it for a week or 2 or 3, but it will always have the longevity to stay on top.

21.0% is the combined live+recording rating (this ANN chart is already for households; just for live viewers only). DS trounces Sazae every week on combined live+recording, which should be no surprise when it's so close in live ratings already even though DS airs at almost midnight (and the gap gets even wider if you factor in streaming, which DS dominates). Can't really blame ANN for only posting the live ratings chart, though, cause the only anime to actually make it onto the top10 combined is DS barring some weak weeks. Even Sazae almost never makes it, seeing as almost the entirety of its rating comes from live and the treshold are usually well over the 10 sazae gets, while DS being a late night show gets most of its rating on recording (but still manages a very impressive live audience score, which is rather peculiar). |
