So glad they did another collection. The first one was stellar. This one includes a game I wanted included in the last one, the SNES Dracula X. It's one of my favorites, despite its shaky reputation in the fandom. I actually prefer it over Rondo, and it's basically its own game. Rondo is more ambitious, but Dracula X is more strategic in its branching paths, atmospheric with its visuals, and it has a fun pick-up-and-play vibe.

I will say this was an odd set to put together, though. Does this mean there will be a DS collection that adds in The Adventure ReBirth as a bonus game? I think here they treated Dracula X like they did Kid Dracula on the first collection. Also, don't sleep on Circle of the Moon. It might be the most underrated Metroidvania in the Castlevancia franchise. It's pretty much the perfect blend of old and new.

Definitely picking this one up. I have the two-on-one GBA cartridge with Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow, but never played Circle of the Moon (and probably didn’t give Dracula X a fair shake because of how many people compared it unfavorably to Rondo of Blood).

I would love a collection of the DS games (I only ever played Dawn of Sorrow) although adapting the touch-screen portions of the games would be tricky. Throw in some version of Rondo and I’d be super onboard. Heck, round things out with a collection of those misunderstood 3D stepchildren of the franchise (Legacy of Darkness, Lament of Innocence, and Curse of Darkness) and I’ll buy that too.
