Well, this is an unexpected crossover. I remember watching Waldo's, or Wally as he was called in the dub, as a little kid. Is Where's Waldo/Wally well known in Japan? I know that some western kids shows/books are very popular there, like Curious George and Thomas the Tank Engine which have very high TV ratings in Japan.

O.K., now this is 1 of the most random and bizarre cross-overs that I have ever read about.

They should take advantage of this and do "Where's One Piece?" But I guess that'd be spoilers, right?

Yes, Wally is popular in Japan for cosplay, particularly for girls.

With the Pandaman and other Wheres Wally aspects in early episodes it is a natural crossover.

^^^ I was actually just going to post that. Where's Waldo is surprisingly popular over in Japan. I recall seeing a lot of random advertisements and usage of the Waldo character throughout Tokyo.

This one's really easy. Waldo is right there next to Luffy.

Not to be that Jojo fan, but does Waldo confirm that the One Piece and Jojo's universe is connected? Waldo had a cameo in Part 3.

Wally is actually the original name of the character (he originated in Britain) and is only called Waldo in North America.
