Of course its "To Be Continued..."; anyone who knows the Sailor Moon series knows there is still one more section left... It will also be the most drastically different between original anime versus the Crystal reboot; though I'm sure that there are some who watched the Eternal film and never knew the manga and were thrown off. xD

I hope Kotono pressing them to make the Stars arc quicker means we won't have to wait another five years this time. Next year is the 30th anniversary of the series (not counting Sailor V) so maybe we'll get the Stars arc by next year.

The Stars arc of the manga is in my opinion, the only real arc worth animating as it's vastly more interesting than it's 90s anime counterpart and where even Takeuchi's more aggravating writing habits like throwing the rest of the Sailor Senshi under the bus to up the stakes work well for once.

Not surprised but still nice to know for sure. Hope director Kon and writer Fudeyasu stay on board for Stars.

And that they don't take years again like with these.

Production began in 2019, 2 years after the original announcement.

I do enjoy the dynamic between the anime versions of Lead Crow and Aluminum Seiren, but I definitely know what you mean. Really looking forward to finally seeing Lethe, Mnemosyne, Heavy Metal Papillon, and everyone else animated one day.

That would be great because honestly the Stars arc anime was a disappointing adaptation to the manga. There was a ton of wonderful material that was wasted.

This makes me so happy! I can’t wait to watch it. I hope they continue with the series, I have loved Sailor Moon since I was a kid.

So when's Viz getting this? Or anyone else since it seems they gave up on the license?

Looks like Netflix has it: http://sailormoonnews.com/2020/12/15/an-instagram-post-accidentally-confirmed-that-the-sailor-moon-eternal-films-are-coming-to-netflix/
