That's very good news! I suspected this would happen ever since I've read there's going to be an announcement about something related to it in the next issue. I've been waiting for this ever since I've started reading it and it's one of the best Kirara mangas I've ever read. It also helps it's not a 4koma so it's not being bound by its limits (not that there's anything wrong with the format, there are genuinely good stories have been created under that).

Also it's worth pointing out that this is nothing like Breakwater, while that one is more of a comedy and gets more into the technicality of fishing, this one has less focus on the fishing aspect itself and is more about adapting to a new family.

Let's hope it gets the adaptation it deserves.

Getting some Yuru Camp vibes here... those who read the manga, would you say that it is a good comparison?

If there's something I would compare it to, it would be Yamasusu or Yorimoi in terms of tone, although not exactly the same. There are some comedic elements, but it's more of a drama and coming-of-age story. If we're talking about Kirara, I've read some comparisons that mentioned Koufuku Graffiti, since both deal with family stuff. But you can't go wrong with it even if you're coming from Yuru Camp.

Good to know. I really enjoyed Breakwater, I'd doubt how this would compare to it. But if it's got a different focus, I suppose that's a better offering.

Which is a bit of a moot point considering that official twitter account for anime is aleredy registered.
