"Mangasode..."

I can't believe this shit. Dumb-ass marketing gimmick to feed off the popularity of manga without even making an effort to emulate manga (which I don't approve of either).

No anime/manga style-look, (poorly) written by a North American comic-book writer, animated by North American animation studio, and based on a North American teen-drama.

It's worse than that old Gen-13 manga, at least Image took some artistic cues from anime...

I can't see it because it says i live outside of Canada. But I can see why you'd be upset tempest. it seems like a bad idea.

Plus the art (for the two scenes they have on the site) looks horrible.

I'm glad you put this ont he site though- its goes to show that anime/manga is really becoming a big thing and that compaines will do anything to cash in on it.
(I may have worded that wrong...hopefully the point got across)

You're better off not having seen it.

I watched the 2-minute episode and I was dumbfounded. I expected something half-way interesting when I found out that a professional comic-book writer was doing the script, but this was absolute and utter trash.

I'm pretty sure Degrassi fans will also find it to be absolute and utter trash.

A Degrassi "manga" (OEL or whatever) I could live with... the only thing amnga related about this is the attempt to market it to Manga fans and/or impress journalists and investors by including the word "manga" in the title.

Last year CTV also Released Degrassi TNG Graphic Novels, these however where in Anime/Manga styling, I wouldn't know if these are good as I have a problem finding any manga in a good driving distance.

So what happened to the poll? I went to vote but it didn't give me any options to vote on and then the link disappeared. Did you change your mind on running a poll on this issue?

I finished watching "Mangasodes" episode one and my eyes are bleeding. It's awful.

The story is nothing more than ranting about boyfriend relationship.

The drawing style has nothing to do with manga or anime. Not enough close.

The limited animation reminds me of something you would find on Adult Swim but 10 times worst.
