Is that one where a puppeteer, who wore a kimono with no underwear, travelled around with a giant box on her back?

Oh Media Blasters... I described back when they managed a Ladies versus Butlers release that they'd just end up being guys selling DVD-Rs out of the back of a van.
Come on, guys, time to shut that van down.

This raises a interesting question. Who is in a better position, Media Blasters or AnimEigo? I want to say AnimEigo because they operate at what seems like a Crowdfunding basis now (loved the Gunsmith Cats release) but Media Blasters seems a bit bigger because they can get newer titles if they try.

Oh hey, it's Media Blasters. Still waiting on the second volume of your Bakuman release, only been *checks notes* 8 years and 9 months since the first volume!

So Media Blaster's current status aside, anyone care to comment on the OVA? Seems like it could be a good watch

It's an OK OVA, I do enjoy Kaoru Wada's score to it which is basically the same as Inuyasha's score. The Japanese version is weird because it teamed Norio Wakamoto with Akiko Yajima of all people as the two leads. It though has a rather disturbing twist part which I won't spoil here involving the puppets and what is used to make the strings to them. It's better than Ninja Resurrection at least.

I love that anime if it's the one with her and the box. The DVD is in my collection and just in time do some catch up on that one. If I remember, I think it's a short anime, but was very good.

I remember liking it more than I'd expected to going in, though I don't remember much of it now beyond that impression. It's short, but I could see myself picking it up--sometimes you don't have two hours free, and 40-odd minutes of crazy mayhem just hits the spot. It's based on a one-shot story by Kazuhiro Fujita, who did "Ushio and Tora" and "Karakuri Circus."
