But with Anime Matsuri cancelled, where will Vic Mignogna spread COVID-19? The mall?

Holy hell that was optimistic of them. Like, are they actually insane? Were the ignore the facts of this whole thing? There was no way it would be safe at all by August lol |

Mceggnog said he was going to donate his proceeds (or was it a portion thereof?) to the Equal Justice Initiative, which you can support without having to put yourself at risk of all the things you can be exposed to by going to a convention and by meeting Vic Mignogna. I shed no tears for him just as I shed no tears for that creep John Leigh. (All the things I’m referring to in this post are in the public domain, I’m not blindly spreading innuendo.) |

Certain areas/states were just more optimistic. What it was based on, I have no idea. Here in the NYC Metro Area we're mostly hunkered down for the long haul.. |

To give some context, Texas had lifted a lot of lockdown restrictions in mid May. Businesses like gyms and restaurants reopened but had to operate at 25-50% normal capacity and there were lots of sanitization wipe downs happening multiple times a day and temperature checks for people wanting entrance. People here were really antsy to get back to normal. But then by the end of June cases started spiking and Governor Abbott started rolling back all those re-openings okays and began shutting things down again. I'm guessing Anime Matsuri was hoping they could hold out and slip the convention by before the full lockdown came back into effect and was then hoping it'd only last another month or two before the state re-opens again. Honestly, it still might. Texans are kind of stubborn like that. |

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the last time local, state, national, and international economies were doing this bad was during the 2008-9 bailout?
