I've seen all his top choices (I'm old) and many of the others. Glad to see him list Bill Forsyth's Local Hero, though only in his second eleven. It would at or near the top of my list.

Jurassic Park is a masterpiece and I'll fight anyone who says it isn't. The fact that movie can still, all these years later, look better then some movies that come out today says a lot. Those dinosaurs still look so damn real.
Hell, I sometimes think the original Jurassic Park Dinosaurs look better then the new movies. Romeo + Juliet can die in a fire. I've been forced to watch that movie so damn much growing up in school. Ugh. |
