While pron is funnier, might want to switch spelling to porn.

Quick correction from Aod: the disc will contain three stories, not three episodes. The disc has a running time of 36 minutes.

Amorz actually released Discipline Disk 1 back in January, and not this past week as stated under their Seven Geishas label . . . . Glad to see them pick some more stuff up . . . .

While most hentai is released 1 episode per disc in North America, Amorz is releasing their titles 3-episodes per disc, with English and Japanese audio tracks.

Only JapanAnime and Adult Source Media releases one episode on a disc. (And then they would add a 30-minute bonus...)

So don't start saying "most" so loosely.

I wonder if the ad copy they wrote for it is as hilarious as Discipline's? Somehow I doubt it's quite as *cough*-busting.

<sigh> Chris Beverage is wrong about this one—three episodes is correct. They were released on separate DVDs on the following dates:

Vol. 1: 2004-04-29
Vol. 2: 2004-07-23
Vol. 3: 2004-12-22
Vol. 4: 2006-08-11 (unlicensed)

Please see (NSFW) http: //schoolzone.kir.jp/sakuhin/sakuhin.html (delete the space for the actual link) for proof.

Edit: Note the official running times. The unrelated series Inbo and Inko from D3 (which are, however, related to each other) also have short epsiode running time—10 minutes each.

(Performed other minor clean up.)

Japananime's 30 minute bonuses are a joke, it's normally trailers for other titles . . . .

Absolutely. When Nutech's dual-sided thirty minute bargain bin keep case nonsense finally went belly-up and it looked like a new dawn was about to shine on the world of domestic hentai we somehow ended up with yet more crappy nonsense like what we're getting from half-assed Japananime. I really wish they would start packaging 2-3 episodes per disc like the better companies out there do.

The best of the bunch is still the one with the absolutely worst possible name. How on earth can you call a porn company "Kitty"? It just has a very, very bad ring to it. Anime hyper Why, oh why did they have to pick that name?

You probably didn't need (or want) to know this, but there is a Japanese adult-video company out there called, wait for it,

FAP (URL points to google JP, not the actual site)

Correction: Amorz released Discipline (probably one of the hotter anime titles out there) at 2 eps. per disc.

Adult Source Media released 1 episode (plus one extra off-sided and crappily animated episode) per disc. They also sell the HD disc of the same series along with the regular disc. (Which reminds me: I need to get Maids In Heaven 2!)

JapanAnime still releases 1 episode per disc outside the specials and collections of their past works (as well as NuTech's). But they've yet to add English dubbing to their works. I've just put a message to Tom Devine of JA about the situation. Rolling Eyes

I even went as far as to call Mr. Devine via phone line... He said that it can't be done because "they" think the English dubbing is so bad.

I, the person who'd appreciate it if companies worked harder to create better English dubs for adult anime, went on a rampage about it over at AoDVD. But my complaints had been pushed aside into some dark corner. Yeah. Rolling Eyes
