I'm pretty sure that most of the games that are out in Japan are based on the Soul Society arc, which means we'll probably be waiting until about mid '07 before any of the games get released domestically

It also means that nothing important will happen in Bleach for a while...It is so boring up until Rukia gets kidnapped.

My opinion is the complete opposite - it's good UNTIL Rukia gets kidnapped. Bleach was more interesting when it took place in the "real world".

First of all, I thought it was gonna be on Bionix. I guess mabey I was wrong. Mabey the show's not violent enough for Bionix.

This is really good news. I only got to see the first few episodes a long time ago because I really didn't feel like downloading so many..>>

Wow. It usually takes YTV a whole while to get their hands on an anime show, especially thoses that had already been aired in Japan and in the US. Seeing that Bleach will be coming this fall on YTV, they sure are quick in picking up this (popular) series.

While that might usually be the case, getting the really popular shows quickly (if possible) is just common sense, IMO. =\ With Naruto & Bleach being so popular, why would YTV wait to pick them up?
EDIT: Of course, this is assuming that these popular series are licensed by a company that YTV regularly gets anime from.

Well considering fullmetal alchemist only started airing around April here, it would be silly for people to get their hopes up for Bleach to air so quickly...Then again maybe maybe YTV learned from their mistakes.

Obviously, it would be picked up quickly due to its popularity.

Do you live in Canada? If so, I assumed that FUNi shows wouldn't see the light of day on YTV, so I excluded them. I should've made that more clear.

That is so awesome! I live in Canada so it's depressing when licensed anime shows are only shown on TV in the US. Good move by YTV. Now if only they'd pick up Eureka SeveN....

Man, I can't wait! I'm betting that they will start airing Bleach as soon as Inuyasha's done, as Bleach would replace it for being another "forever running" anime series.

I'm pretty sure a Bleach PSP or DS game was announced for US launch earlier this year, before VIZ had even licenced the show.

Well you have to remeber YTV and FUNi weren't the best of friends if you remeber the DBZ Incident back in the day.
