I'm already using a year long subscription plan so will my plan still be yearly when it rolls over to the new plan or will it be switched to monthly now?

One of the plans is called "Plus Ultra"
Not sure if it is worth it, though.

Premium Plus Ultra...Is it All Might approved?
I'm sorry, I couldn't NOT mention it. A+ branding, Funimation!

Are they still going to use the CC style subs or go back to their regular style?

Looking at funimation's blog post of the new tiers you should be locked in at the year plan and you get the premium plus tier at $59.99 instead of $79.99 for new users, if I'm understanding the blog post correctly.

If the entire library is already open with each subscription tier, then what would the two pay per views be for?

Thanks for clearing that up! I'm glad it sounds like not too much should change for me.

This sounds like unless you share your account with a lot of people you're best off just sticking with Premium if you're a new subscriber. Those higher tiers don't sound worth it at all.

For the middle tier, the ability to download episodes would be useful for those with a limited data plan and prefer to not connect to public wifi.

I thought FUNi was to move to Hulu? I'd rather just subscribe to Hulu.
I wish FUNi didn't move off VRV. Its a great deal for $10 a month(Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, CuriosityStream, Shudder, Nickelodeon, etc).

The Hulu deal is like, say, if Toonami having a deal with Funimation. It means that whenever a new season starts, Hulu is given a list of what shows Funimation has licensed, and they can choose which ones they want to put in their service. So you can subscribe to Hulu and maybe get everything Funimation offers during the season, or you might not depending on what Hulu decides. If you want the full catalog of Funimation's streaming offerings, on top of new shows, it's probably best to just get Funimation Premium. Plus, unless you're paying $12 a month for Hulu with no commercials, you're probably going to have to sit through ads.

I think it's cool that I don't have to do anything and get the 2nd Tier subscription. I've been a customer for years so that is very cool on their part.
Not sure about the Plus Ultra membership yet and I'm actually surprised they get to use that phrase for their subscription name.

Without more information, Premium Plus seems like the best deal for current subscribers since it is the same with the addition of free shipping on $20 orders, which is easy to clear. They don't currently do pay-per-view rental, so I don't know how that will work, especially since you already get access to their catalog and download to go. The anniversary gift could be just about anything. The free shipping on any store orders would only help if you bought some small item. But one disc set, and you're already over $20 unless it's an older movie.

What good are rentals for on a streaming site that you've got a subscription for? Am I missing something?
