Are there any maid cafes in the states yet? I think it would be pretty fun to go to one.

Addendum: Not surprisingly, there's one opened at 明洞 (hanja; I don't know how to write it in hangul), one of the most popular shopping district in Seoul, Korea not long ago.

Hardly. Those are waitresses, not maids.

I suppose some people just like subtlety. When you go to hooters they are pretty much just flaunting the goods in your face. Laughing In this case more (clothes) is more (pleasing to the senses) I guess.

Um what do the "maids" do different from waitresses in these cafes. I havn't been to the one in Hawaii, but assuming they are wearing a maid costume wouldn't that be the same.

In otherwords enlighten me. What do maids do different from waitresses, besides being dressed in a maid uniform? I don't know thats why I asked.

Some of them in japan will feed you and blow on your food. They also sit with you and chat etc.

I wouldn't mind one here in the states as I don't much like hooters (bunch of jocks bad food etc) but I think at least for me the maid cafe is best done in japan with japanese girls-real japanese girls Smile

Anna Millers in Hawaii is either a hit or miss: their either hot, or you want to hurl your lunch out. (Not as worse as the ones in Megatokyo Webcomic). The Japanese ones are better.

I see, thanks.

I agree with animaniac and Abarenbo that I think if it does come to the states it would be a cheap version. However when I go to Japan I think I will definitely check one out.
