Please just give it a chance. Just because a lot of movies based on video games suck doesn't mean this one will.

But based on the Directors history (Paranormal Activity Movies are a Joke; More 3 & 4 to say so, And Don't even bring catfish up...) it doen't look good.

And their statement is what scares me the most.

"Appeal to a diverse audience[...] Hollywood feel..." These two facts scream "Dragon Ball Evolution"

Edit: Wanted to add... they are not looking to appeal to Mega Man Fan Audiences. Looks like they are looking to make a generic, mainstream film.

Ew this is gross

Megaman is so cartoony and game-like a live-action movie will look a Super Mario bros movie

It'll probably be like that cancelled Retro Studios game where it looks like Halo and is all grim and gritty.

That movie is probably better and weirder than this will be.

The Paranormal Activity directors? Are we sure they're ready to work with a budget higher than twelve dollars?

Wow this early on and the live action mega man film is already shaping up to be one hell of a train wreck.

Those movies grossed over $1.2 billion at the box office. Capcom has learned that they can get an easy royalty/licensing cheque, plus free IP advertising by doing very little.
