Is the second movie ever going to get a re-release in the US?

I can't understand everyone's fear in a YuYu Hakusho remake. If it's good, we have an even better version of you you Hakusho that we can watch. It'll be easier to introduce more people to the classic show who wouldn't watch older animation. If it's bad, we still have the original. We can just ignore this one. I truly don't understand the problem. I don't think Hunter x Hunter Fans felt this way when they got a remake announced.

The difference between Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter is the original Yu Yu Hakusho anime adapted the entire story faithfully while with Hunter x Hunter, the original anime didn't cover all the manga. An anime remake is entirely unnecessary just because some younger anime fans refuse to ever watch an anime that wasn't before 2003 besides maybe Dragon Ball Z. It just seems like it would be a cynical cash grab that wouldn't add anything the original anime didn't already do. And personally I liked the original Hunter x Hunter anime better as I think it had a better visual aesthetic, better music, and a better overall soundtrack.

Umm it actually did not though as the first few chapters of the manga were passed over and I'm not entirely sure but the finale may have been changed as well which I don't know constitutes as a good or bad thing considering the divisiveness of the manga's final chapters.

A lot of things were changed heavily by the anime adaptation. Not to the point of being a different narrative altogether, but still, I can see benefits in remaking it more faithfully.
