I thought that Daman Mills is Frieza's new voice. But Christopher Ayres voices him this time. At least, I would like to hear the voices of Johnny Galecki, John Krasinski and Eric Bauza in this movie.

Chris Ayres is very ill and awaiting a lung transplant. It’s likely he’s not healthy enough for a TV recording schedule, but was able to do a movie.

Can't wait to see the inevitable leak of the film a month earlier.

So did they change their minds or something? Or is this Toei’s meddling? They assure that sub fans will have “other formats” to see the film, but watching a movie anywhere other than in the theaters is pretty disappointing.
Not to mention, isn’t the dub like a whole year behind on Toonami? If the movie is a direct sequel to the end of Super, it won’t make much sense for dub fans...

But there are many of us who have seen the subbed Super episodes, especially the final episodes

Your logic is sound. I'm very confused about this.
This is a pretty big dump taken on sub fans - the most hardcore of all Dragonball fans. Screw Funimation, I guess

There's no way this isn't Toei's doing, considering just about every other theatrical release from Funi has offered both subbed and dubbed showings. Perhaps it has something to do with it coming to NA only a month after the Japanese theatrical release.

It’s actually common for people to dub the movies long before the dub of the series gets to that point. Funimation recently did it with One Piece Gold, and Viz did it with both of the last two Naruto movies.

Also with the advent of simulcast anime licensors know fans keep up with the material in multiple formats. If I recall Battle of the Gods and Ressurection F both had dub screenings so I’m not surprised. These days a lot of anime movies coming out in Japan are having smaller Western release windows from their Japanese release dates.

If this movie doesn't have Vegito fighting Broly and potara fusion restored to being permanent then the most perfect fight Dragon Ball could ever present would have been the greatest missed opportunity ever, thus ruining the movie and redeeming Dragon Ball Super for even having nerfed him in the first place. What stupid idiot would say no to that? Oh wait, the modern day anti-macho pansy crowd.

That falls under Toei Europe jurisdiction. I emailed them not expecting much but they did say they were working with distributors to distribute it across Europe and to be patient.
