I went to see this movie over the weekend.I am conflicted when it comes to this movie.I loved the storyline. But the animation was to wonky for me.It animation style seemed like it was an experimental film from the late 80's or very early 90's.I believe it could have been far better if the animation was done properly.

Drove up to North Hollywood to see this film and didn't regret it. More people in the audience than I expected on a Mother's Day afternoon. Story was easier to follow than the reviews implied. Art and animation was a little on the abstract and stylized side which I enjoyed. Looked like someone had dropped a lot of acid.

Male main character starts off as not very relatable but he grows. Life lessons, upbeat resolution in spite of a brush with tragedy (and March 11 similarities), and you'll have a better appreciation for the usefulness of umbrellas.
