Aww! I haven't been keeping up with the original Magi manga but I found Sinbad no Bouken to be more entertaining.

Now I wonder what's keeping Viz from publishing this one too. Has the main Magi series been selling poorly or something? Or if it's selling well, are they maybe waiting for their print run to near its end so they can extend the cash cow with this spinoff? Either way, what is taking them so long! Shogakukan Asia has already published a few vols of this in English, believe it or now.

This was way better than the actual series.

Sigh a disappointing rush job just like the original. The magi franchise had so much potential but just wasnt able to capitalize. I really hope that shinobus next work is good and that its a more fufiling story Sad.

Same here. My friend told me Magi has gotten really screwy with its plot, so it might be hard to follow even if I did catch up.

The original Magi already ended! Its last volume already went on sale even.

As I said, I haven't been keeping up with it, so I was not even aware it had ended.

Maybe duringlast two arcs, but Magi was very solid for quite some time.

So is the Magi anime ever going to return or is it dead?
