Nice to have a date for it at least. Excited to finally see it.

Bit too late. Was faster to just walk to Canada and watch it there. Thanks, Netflix USA.

It's going to be interesting to see if us U.S. viewers are going to get a different experience than the other ones who were following this week by week.

I'm happy for all my American friends who were waiting to see this legitimately. Uh, not sure how many of you fell into this category, but...

I am glad it is coming in the first week of April for those who decided to wait for the legal stream.

I've been watching the 1080p Asenshi subs weekly, and I think I'm just gonna bypass Netflix altogether and buy the US blurays instead. I pay for Netflix and they really screwed us over.
For those in other countries that didn't get the simulcast (Mexico, Spain, Austria, Australia, etc), is Netflix showing a listing for the same date? I'm really curious as to what caused the seemingly random "international" release for Evergarden.

Yes, I’m from Spain and the release is listed for the same day

Count me among them. Patience pays off as they say. Plus it's not like we've not had plenty of other good shows to keep busy with in the mean time as well. This will be a very nice spring treat though.

So it comes out in the US the day episode 13 comes out for the rest of the world, nice.
But isn't supposed to be 14 episodes? or maybe the final episode is double so that's why was counted as 14?

Too little, too late. Using a VPN to watch the show on Netflix Japan just fine.

Me, too. Torrenting makes me feel guilty & is a huge bother. I try to avoid it, for the most part.
But I'm generally the most motivated to watch a show to stay up to date with weekly discussions. I hate the pressure of having to watch a whole series at once before discussing it (lest yee be spoiled!). So even though I have access to Netflix through a family account, I might not watch Evergarden--too many new weekly Spring shows compete with it.
Have I mentioned how much I hate Netflix's binge model?

I'm wondering this as well. I wouldn't be surprised if the finale is a double (Made In Abyss was the same), and would make sense given the US release date is the date for episode 13.

I figured I'd rewatch it subtitled once it showed up on Netflix here, since I'm watching the dub with friends in Canada, but I don't know if I actually like it enough to sit through it again. It might depend on how it wraps up, I guess.

Was gonna end up torrenting in the end but I can wait a couple more weeks. Though this doesn't mean Netflix should get off easily.
