The character designs look very late 80s.

It helps that Kondo looks like Goto from Patlabor.

True. I'm actually a big fan of the character designs.

The character designs remind me of those in classic shoujo/jôsei manga, which is rather unusual, because the manga is published in Big Comic Spirits, a seinen manga magazine.

I like what I see in the trailers so far. The animation looks polished and crisp, with good shadings, lots of details in the backgrounds and nice colors. I can't say I'll love the op, but the ending sounds nice so far. Hopefully, this adaption will retain the light-hearted tone of the manga and not dwelve too much into melodrama.

Yes that's the one, I know he looked like someone from Patlabor. I was having trouble with the girl, but I think she looks like Reiko Hanyuu from ushio and Tora(early 90s but still close) if she was drawn by Rumiko.

Definitely looking forward to this! Also nice to see that I'm not the only one that thought Kondo looks like Goto.

Yes, all Amazon licenses will now be on Prime. They still hold exclusive rights to all anime from the Noitamina and Animeism, as well as maybe one other that I can't remember off the top of my head, so they aren't just dropping out of the game entirely.

Aimer song too top tier to be an ED song. I'd settle for it being the OP and ED song.

The likeness is so uncanny as to raise suspicions. I do doubt that this anime would have reached the production stage without someone involved noticing the similarity.

even dou I'm not a big fan of SOL anime besides comedy and even then I'm very picky I'm sorta interested in this most cause of the premise alone even dou the animation isn't half bad either as for the theme songs no idea who's doing the OP but the chick that sings the ED sounds extremely familiar

ED is done by Aimer, who also did Brave Shine OP for Fate/Stay Night UBW, and the ED for Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, among others. <3 me some Aimer!

The art design for Akira reminds me of Yakumo Tsukamoto from School Rubmle for some reason :]
